My name is Marshall Main, but many in the industry know me as Tbone. I have been working in the Film/ Television/ Radio/ Entertainment Industry professionally since 2001. Experienced on many different formats and equipment, I am a hard worker who can learn quickly and adapt promptly to any given situation. I pride myself on my work ethic, integrity and desire to perform above and beyond the call of duty at all times all while having a great sense of humor and creative spark.
In 2006, I received my BS in Film & Television Production from Full Sail. Prior to attending Full Sail, I worked for WETN in Chicago as a Tech2 Supervisor. My duties were many, including; Audio Mixing and recording in studio, Live Event Audio mixing, Live Event Multiple Camera Direction/ Switching / Operator, Video Editing and Production, Managing employees and schedules, assisting with AV event equipment maintenance and setup, and Mastering. In 2006, I joined Royal Caribbean as was with them until 2009 and finished as Head Broadcast Technician. My duties were many including: Running and maintaining equipment of the television broadcast systems on-board the ships, managing employees, scheduling, live event support, cruisely (per cruise) production of the CIR DVD, public relations and Guest interaction/ satisfaction, on-board event production (shooting and editing) and satellite acquisition and tracking.
In 2009, I moved shore side and joined i.m.a.g.e Photo
Services. as a Video Field Service Support
Specialist, I was primarily responsible for training of personnel and maintenance
of equipment on 54 vessels spread out between Royal Caribbean, Celebrity,
Cunard, Norwegian, Disney, Azamara and Island Cruise Lines. I also produced all the in-house training materials
as well as maintained quality control of the DVD produced by our on-board
videographers. My other
duties included shooting, writing, directing, graphics, editing, equipment research, new vessel setup,
training program management, and vessel audits.
In 2011, I joined the Broadcast team at Royal Media Partners
as the Cinematographer. This new company
was responsible for the Port Shopping Program on-board the RCI Cruise line vessels (Royal, Celebrity and Azamara). My duties included shooting videos and photos of product ranging from diamond jewelry to timepieces
to souvenirs, as well as, locations, stores, displays and vessels and hosts on location and in studio talking about said product or locations. We also produced over 50
hours of original programming content for the ships., which included multiple crew and location setups on scripted and documentary style shows. I set up the in-house TV studio and managed
all the equipment for the department.. My duties also included, but were not limited to: lighting, shooting, editing, writing, directing, casting, story-boarding, set design & builds, client relations, location scouting, props, makeup, shot lists, equipment rental, research, and other production activities.
I have also worked on crews for various independent
projects, music videos, and commercials (ESPN, Disney, NASSCAR, Rascal
Flatts). I have experience photographing and recording: scripted shoots, weddings, portraits, locations,
product, live and corporate events, advertisements, training materials, corporate materials; and have been published in educational
materials, the Orlando Sentential and on several websites and catalogs. I am an accomplished world traveler with a valid passport (125+ countries), and love
learning new languages and culture. Along with being a certified diver, I enjoy the outdoors and have spent a lot of time above and
below the water. I have may other skills that make me a valuable asset on set beyond my industry experience. This includes carpentry & mechanic skills, musical score reading, speaking several languages at a basic level, voice over flexibility, professional attitude, and a creative and friendly personality just to name a few.
